The Industrial Maintenance Training Program at Tri-Rivers provides the skills necessary to perform industrial maintenance tasks in today’s manufacturing operations.

This is a complete curriculum. Our professional instructors give you hands on training in each of our classes—Basic welding, Advanced Welding, HVAC training, basic electricity and electronics, introduction to computers and electronics, hydraulics, EPA 608 and more.  We’ll give you the tools and instruction to get you prepared for the 21st century.

You’ll do more than read a textbook. You’ll design, build, test and troubleshoot.  You’ll demonstrate your knowledge.  Be prepared to learn!

Pre-requisites and Enrollment

In order to help ensure successful completion of the course and entry level employment, students must meet these requirements and fulfill all enrollment procedures before being admitted to class.

  1. A signed and completed application and payment of the $95 non-refundable application fee. Return your application by mail or in person. A student is considered “registered” after this step has been completed.
  2. A student is considered “enrolled” after 1) assessment has been completed, 2) he/she has demonstrated the necessary academic competencies for the class by passing the pre-entrance tests, and 3) a student has provided proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  3. Tuition, book and supply fees for a particular quarter due on or before the first day of the quarter or the student will not be permitted to attend class, until payment is made in full.

Basic Welding
48 Hours – $1175 includes text, safety equipment, & materials
This course teaches the student welding and cutting safety and the basic fundamentals of oxy-fuel cutting, shielded metal arc welding (stick), gas metal arc welding (mig), in the flat and horizontal positions.

Advanced Welding
48 Hours – $1093
This course starts with safety and teaches the student more advanced welding positions including vertical and overhead welding, concluding with an AWS welding qualification test.

EPA Section 608 Technician Certification Class
12 Hours – $112
This course provides the students with a technical understanding of Refrigerant containment Section 608 of the Clean Air Act.

HVAC (Heating & Air Conditioning) Level 1 & 2
100 Hours – $1822
This class provides the student with a basic understanding of the Theory of Heat, Safety, Tools and Equipment, Shop Practices, Basic Automatic Controls, Electric Motors, Commercial Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Heating and Humidification).Air Conditioning (Cooling), All-Weather Systems, Domestic Appliances, Chilled-Water Air Conditioning Systems.
