Hello PowerSchool Parent Portal!
Tri-Rivers is pleased to announce the implementation of PowerSchool, a program that provides online grade book access for students and the parents and guardians of students. PowerSchool also allows parents to view attendance information and to schedule to receive periodic email updates on students’ grades.
PowerSchool is a single system that will replace ProgressBook (our former grade book and attendance system for teachers, parents and students) and it will also replace eSIS (our former student information system). District leaders learned part way through the 2010-2011 school year that eSIS and its parent company, “aal”, had been acquired by Pearson (PowerSchool’s parent company) and that eSIS would no longer be supported.
After attending workshops and demos and doing some comparison shopping, it was decided that PowerSchool would be the most cost-effective and best solution for Tri-Rivers as we could combine two services into one package and ultimately provide a better product for our staff and community.
