BE AMAZING. BE A LEADER.
An integral part of the basic philosophy of Tri-Rivers Career Center is the belief that students should be provided opportunities to grow and develop as citizens as well as to become skilled workers.
Therefore, it is by design that the youth organizations of the school are co-curricular rather than extracurricular in nature. This means that personal and professional growth activities are built into the curriculum of each career-technical program. Tri-Rivers youth clubs represent the general areas of career-technical training at the school.
They include the following:
FFA
is the youth leadership organization of all agricultural programs. FFA activities and leadership training skills are an integral part of every Agriculture Education (Ag. Ed.) curriculum.
FCCLA
is for students enrolled in Early Childhood Education and Culinary Arts.
SkillsUSA
is a youth-oriented club for students in trade and industrial programs.
Ambassador Club
is very similar to a student council. These select individuals represent the school at various activities-as tour guides, greeters, etc.
Teen Institute
is a drug-free leadership program dedicated to providing you leadership skills and life skills to make drug-free choices and to encourage your friends to do the same.
TRFL (Tri-Rivers Future Leaders)
For Transitions students to build personal & professional skills.
Get involved & make new friends.
