Join PSS for “Walk A Mile in Their Shoes” Oct. 10

Be sure to support the Public Safety Services/Turning Point “Walk a Mile In Their Shoes” event this Saturday, October 10, at 10am. The walk begins at the former Marion Catholic High School Building. Participants are asked to donate to the cause.

Men are to wear women’s shoes and women are to wear men’s shoes. The event is part of the National Domestic Violence Month and is designed to raise awareness in our community about the serious causes and effects of domestic violence.  There is an old saying, “you really can’t understand another person’s experience until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.” Join Tri-Rivers Public Safety Services in this worthy cause.

Public Safety Services  student Joshua Blauser has worked hard on organizing this event, let’s help him and his class make it a huge success!!  See you there!
