Students’ “Make A Difference Day” Successful
“Tri-Rivers in collaboration with United Way continues to give back to the community through service projects,” said Jodi Gaietto, director of academics and student services. “Today marks our 7th Annual Make A Difference Day event.”
Gaietto continued, “This is an excellent opportunity for our community to see all of the many talented and giving young people who attend Tri-Rivers.”
More than 200 Tri-Rivers students and staff, as part of United Way’s LIVE UNITED volunteer activities, made an immediate and positive impact in the area.
Tri-Rivers students and staff volunteered at 14 different service sites which included places like the Turning Point, Central Ohio Farmers Cooperative, Red Cross, Goodwill Industries, Kingston and Primrose, Downtown Marion, MARCA, Salvation Army, Marion Towers, and Sawyer Ludwig Park.
Special thanks to Natalie Longmeir and Amber Wertman of United Way for coordinating the event, along with Mrs. Gaietto.
