We, the adult education staff strive to work as an effective team. We are an integral part of education that links business/industry and agencies within our community. We provide lifelong, continuous learning for a diverse adult population enabling students to overcome barriers and enhance the quality of life for themselves and their families. Accreditation
Tri-Rivers Center For Adult Education has been accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Universities since 1985. Accreditation by the NCA means the school has met the high standards for membership which signify our school has the resources, personnel, and leadership necessary for effective education. Career Development Programs also have credential testing for additional licensing or certification, such as the Ohio Board of Nursing or the Ohio Department of Public Safety.

We encourage partnerships with local business and industry by offering our Workforce Development Job Readiness Training. We work with local employers to develop new skills and training –helping their employees grow and be more productive. We can develop customized training classes for your specific needs.

Employees looking to advance in their chosen profession, or thinking of making a change, can work with our Adult Education team through our career counseling services.
Current Training Programs
Whatever your field of interest, Tri-Rivers Adult Education has a program that will interest you.
Computer – We offer beginner and advanced training in windows, word processing, Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
Health – Our Extensive training includes programs for Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Practical Nursing and our first-in-Ohio LPN to RN Program.
Industrial Maintenance - You’ll get the skills sets you need to compete in the workplace with training in blueprint reading, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, welding and more.
Public Safety Services – We offer EMT Basic, School of Paramedicine, Fire and Rescue, Firefighter I/II level, Emergency Medical Responder, and CPR training.
