REGULAR MEETING

April 4, 2011 @ 7:00 p.m.

The special April Board of Education meeting was called to order by President Mickey Landon at 6:00 p.m.

Members Present: Mr. Bryan Bumgarner, Mr. Jim Clinger, Mr. Bob Haas, Mr. Mickey Landon, Mr. Carl Layne, Mr. Dennis Leader, Mr. Jim McFarland, Mr. Keith Rogers, Mr. Gary Sims, Mr. John Thompson, Mr. Rocky White, and Mr. Gene Wiley.

Members Absent: Mr. C. Gary Iams

Also Attending: Mr. Charles A. Speelman, Mr. Stephen J. Earnest, and Mr. Larry Hickman.

The Board discussed the budget and forecast.

Mr. Rocky White left the meeting at 6:45 p.m. to attend the Marion City Schools local board meeting.

Mr. John Thompson moved to enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing employment of personnel.

Mr. Gary Sims seconded the motion.

Discussion

Roll Call: Thompson yes, Sims yes, Haas yes, Bumgarner yes, Clinger yes, Iams yes, Layne yes, Leader yes, McFarland yes, Rogers yes, White yes, Wiley yes, Landon yes.

Motion declared passed.

The Board entered into executive session at 7:05 p.m.

President Landon declared the meeting back in regular session at 7:55 p.m.

Mr. Dennis Leader moved to adjourn.

Mr. Jim Clinger seconded the motion.
