Tri-Rivers Career Center’s mission is to prepare all secondary and adult students to contribute, advance and succeed in the 21st century workforce, to be responsible family and community members and to embrace learning as a life-long process.

We, the adult education staff strive to work as an effective team. We are an integral part of education that links business/industry and agencies within our community. We provide lifelong, continuous learning for a diverse adult population enabling students to overcome barriers and enhance the quality of life for themselves and their families. We utilize practical skills with an eye toward technological advancement.  At Tri-Rivers we are changing lives through education.

Adult Education Courses and Services


Workforce Development
We encourage partnerships with local business and industry by offering our Workforce Development Job Readiness Training. We work with local employers to develop new skills and training—helping their employees grow and be more productive. We can develop customized training classes for your specific needs.


Career Counseling
Employees looking to advance in their chosen profession, or thinking of making a change, can work with our Adult Education team through our career counseling services.


Tri-Rivers Career Center – Center for Adult Education’s career technical programs are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The school is a member of the University System of Ohio. Our Career Development programs are approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Our Practical Nursing and LPN-RN Programs are approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Our Public Safety Programs are approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, we hold a Fire Charter and EMS Accreditation #329. Our EMT-Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program CAAHEP as recommended by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Program for the Emergency Medical Services Professions CoAEMSP.
