New Student Orientation Aug. 11

New Student Orientation facebook webTri-Rivers New Student Orientation will be held Tuesday, August 11 from 5pm to 6pm at the Career Center.

New students are encouraged to attend with parents/guardians and those who care about their futures. During the event students will be able to pick up their schedules, receive free T-shirts, learn about online connections, updates for 2015-2016, visit labs, etc.

Be sure to attend this important event. It is going to be an AMAZING year!

The first day of class will be Tuesday, August 18, 2015.

 

 

Team Cuisine Cooks Camp July 15-18

Team Cuisine 2015The 14th Annual Team Cuisine Cooks Camp will be held at Tri-Rivers July 15-18, 2015. High school seniors in culinary programs from schools around Ohio will attend this  four-day workshop on the culinary arts and food service management. The event will culminate with a “Grand Banquet” Saturday for the students’ parents, instructors and industry partners. Stop by and watch as students learn from professional chefs.

Mrs. Dunn receives Board Commendation

The Tri-Rivers Board of Education presented a Commendation to Sherrie Dunn at the June 24, 2015 meeting. Mrs. Dunn, Lead Guidance Counselor at Tri-Rivers, was recognized for her dedication and professionalism to the students and staff. Mrs. Dunn has shared her care and concern for young adults with thousands of students during her 28 years as an educator and guidance counselor. Her expertise and leadership have been recognized by her peers and has led to better educational experiences for both students and staff.

Seniors Recognized at Palace Theatre in 2015

Tri-Rivers 2015 Senior Recognition was held at the Palace Theatre in Downtown Marion, Monday, May 18 at 7p.m. All students crossed the stage of the historic theater and were recognized for their many accomplishments and the more than $220,000 of scholarships.

Tri-Rivers Future Leaders (TRFL) held their Above & Beyond Day, Wednesday, April  29, 2015. Throughout the day the sophomores and their advisers completed numerous community service projects throughout the three counties that support their education—Marion, Morrow and Union.

Some of the service projects included cleanup and repairs at Busby and Fenmore Parks in Downtown Marion, Richwood Park in Union County, Flying Horse Farms in Morrow County and the Marion County Fairgrounds.

It turned out to be a beautiful day for these AMAZING y0ung people to give back to their communities.
