Full-Time Glazier

Ohio Glass and Aluminum is looking for motivated applicants to join our glazing team. Our business has been fulfilling commercial glass and aluminum needs all over central Ohio for over 30 years. We offer fantastic on-the-job training with highly experienced glaziers and management, so high levels of experience and education are not required. Our company offers competitive pay and benefits; we strive to maintain good morale and support work/life balance. Starting wage for the full-time glazier position will be $25/hour which typically increases after 90 day and annual review. We consistently work well within a 100-mile radius of Columbus, so no out-of-state travel. Excess mileage paid to employee according to state guidelines. Ohio Glass is a non-union Drug Free Workplace.

Required:

High School Diploma

Forklift, OSHA, and/or other machinery certifications a plus, but not required.

Good driving record in order to operate company vehicles.

Abilities needed:

Comply with Jobsite/OSHA safety rules. Read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch. Climb ladders/scaffolding, Lift 80 lbs. Carry 50 lbs. Basic proficiency with power tools. Receive training from peers. Attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in initial layout and field measuring of projects. Accurately read shop drawings. Carry and stage material on site. Maintain clean and safe workspace. Communicate effectively with Foreman and Project Manager. Run gasket. Install glass and aluminum framing. Caulking.
